Henan Closes Over 20 Zinc Alloy Producers on Environment Protection Efforts

More Than 20 zinc alloy producers in Changge City, Henan Province have been shut down due to environment protection inspections, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM) – More Than 20 zinc alloy producers in Changge City, Henan Province have been shut down due to environment protection inspections, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

Nearly 100 enterprises in the region have closed for pollution, SMM understands, and no timetable has been set for production resumption.

Environment protection inspections in Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, and Shandong have also been strengthened with the arrival of winter months in these regions.
