The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels declined further on Friday mainly on lower capesize vessels rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels declined further on Friday mainly on lower capesize vessels rates.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, down by 11 points or 1.13 percent to 963 points.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
