Market Update-Aug 22nd, 2014: North American copper scrap prices up marginally

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices recovered marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index as on August 22nd, Friday.

Alternator prices remained unchanged. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went higher by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery and #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged from the previous day. The prices of #3 Copper-Light copper were up by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of Cu Yokes and Copper Transformer Scrap remained unchanged on August 22nd.

Copper Radiator prices remained flat over the day at $2.22 per Lb.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends witnessed no price-change over the day.

The price of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe too remained flat at $1.65 per Lb and $1.55 per Lb respectively.

Heater Cores prices were unchanged. Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices remained flat.

Romex Wire prices witnessed no change.

Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, and Xmas Lights witnessed no daily variation in prices on August 22nd.

Starter prices too remained flat.
