HR coil spot prices in the Indian market fell further back in July, down 0.9% month-on-month to Rs 42,193 a ton as the monsoon season weighed down on purchasing activity.

MUMBAI (Scrap Register): HR coil spot prices in the Indian market fell further back in July, down 0.9% month-on-month to Rs 42,193 a ton as the monsoon season weighed down on purchasing activity.

The industry’s hopes that a new businessfriendly government would announce a slew of new infrastructure projects is yet to be realised, though steel market participants remain as bullish as ever in their outlook for the remainder of 2014.
