Inbound arrivals of nickel ore to the Port of Ningde in Fujian Province were 2.1 million tonnes, a drop of 18.3% from a year ago, local media reported today.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 30 (SMM) – Inbound arrivals of nickel ore to the Port of Ningde in Fujian Province were 2.1 million tonnes, a drop of 18.3% from a year ago, local media reported today. 

The sharp decline in imports was due mainly to the introduction of export ban on unprocessed ore by Indonesian government since early 2014, it added.
