SMM #1 nickel prices were quoted between RMB 131,400-131,900/mt, with trading improving in the morning.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 17 (SMM) – SMM #1 nickel prices were quoted between RMB 131,400-131,900/mt, with trading improving in the morning. Nickel prices on Wuxi electronic trading soared, moving between RMB 131,250-131,750/mt. prices were between RMB 131,500-132,000/mt in the morning, and rose to RMB 131,700-132,200/mt in the afternoon. Demand was sluggish due to the off-season for stainless steel, with transactions mainly made among traders, and will not improve until late August.
