Jiangxi Shide Aluminum Co. broke ground on 40,000-tpy aluminum extrusion project in Chongqing recently, local media reported today.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 11 (SMM) – Jiangxi Shide Aluminum Co. broke ground on 40,000-tpy aluminum extrusion project in Chongqing recently, local media reported today.

Located in Wuyang Immigration Industrial Park, the project represents 500 million yuan ($ 81 million) in total investment. The first phase, with investment at 280 million yuan and annual capacity at 20,000 tonnes, will generate 400 million yuan in annual revenues and create over 200 jobs once operational next July, it added.
