SMM Tin Market Morning Review (2014-7-11)

LME tin opened at USD 22,203/mt on Thursday.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 11 (SMM) – LME tin opened at USD 22,203/mt on Thursday. The metal touched day’s high USD 22,270/mt and day’s low of USD 22,001/mt before closing down USD 200/mt at USD 22,050/mt. Trading volumes shrank 89 lots to 401 lots, with positions also down 89 lots to 22,401 lots. Inventories decreased 165 mt to 11,545 mt.

LME tin should test support at USD 21,800/mt on Friday. In Shanghai physical tin market, mainstream traded prices are expected between RMB 138,500-140,000/mt.
