






SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) –LME tin opened at USD 15,250/mt on Friday. The metal touched day’s high of USD 15,355/mt and day’s low of USD 15,005/mt before closing down USD 65/mt at USD 15,185/mt. Trading volumes were up 68 lots to 257 lots, and positions were up 242 to 20,093. Inventories fell 25 mt to 5,100 mt. The US dollar index fell back on Friday. Technically, LME tin should rise to USD 15,050-15,350/mt on Monday.
SHFE 1601 tin should move at RMB 98,500-100,500/mt. In Shanghai and Guangdong spot markets, tight supply of less popular brands should keep mainstream traded prices stable between RMB 98,000-100,000/mt.
