Chinese Scrap Prices Witness Mixed Trend, Nickel Falls

The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Monday, June 23rd.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Monday, June 23rd.

#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire inched higher by CNY 700 per MT. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too went up by CNY 750 each per MT.

201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel too remained unchanged at CNY 10,650 per MT. 316 Stainless Steel prices too saw no price action.

Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices climbed higher by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day. Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 23rd June, 2014.

Nickel scrap prices declined marginally by CNY 200 per MT. Nickel scrap traded at CNY 127,800 per MT.

Shred Stainless Steel prices remained flat at CNY 9,950 per MT over the day.

Shred Zinc and Soft Lead prices remained flat from previous day.
