The metal touched day’s high USD 22,850/mt and day’s low of USD 22,550/mt before closing flat at USD 22,550/mt. Trading volumes contracted 90 lots to 215 lots, with positions up 197 lots to 21,900 lots. Inventories dropped 15 mt to 10,845 mt.
Markets expect HSBC’s flash China manufacturing PMI for June, due for release today, to rise to 49.7. LME tin should hover around USD 22,500/mt on Monday. In Shanghai physical tin market, mainstream traded prices are expected between RMB 138,000-140,000/mt.
