DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jun. 5 (SMM) – China’s zinc output during April was 456,000 tonnes, up 2.01% year-on-year, Shanghai Metals Market learnt.
The data, released by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), was in line with a recent SMM survey.
SMM attributed the increase in output to demand improvement, rising zinc prices and the completion of unit maintenance at some smelters.
Zinc output is expected to continue growing in May due to higher zinc prices, SMM survey revealed.
