China's NFC Contracts to Construct Dairi Lead-zinc Project in Indonesia

China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. signed a $632 million contract with PT Dairi Prima Mineral to construct the Dairi lead-zinc project in Indonesia.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 18 (SMM) – China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. (NFC) signed a $632 million contract with PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM) to construct the Dairi lead-zinc project in Indonesia.

NFC will set up a project contracting company in Indonesia to work on the project located in the Dairi regency in North Sumatra which entails the design and construction of a 1-million-tpy zinc-lead concentrator and associated infrastructure, NFC said in a statement filed to Shenzhen Stock Exchange today.

Construction will take 42 months after the receipt of the first installment of DPM’s advance payment, NFC said.
