SMM Tin Market Morning Review (2014-4-18)

LME tin opened at USD 23,500/mt on Thursday.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 18 (SMM) – LME tin opened at USD 23,500/mt on Thursday. The metal touched day’s high USD 23,500/mt and day’s low of USD 23,175/mt, closing the day down USD 149/mt at USD 23,350/mt. Trading volumes shrank 80 lots from the previous day to 378 lots, and positions were also down 97 lots to 22,366 lots. Inventories dropped 15 mt to 9,515 mt.                     

LME is closed today for the Good Friday. In Shanghai physical tin market, prices are expected between RMB 139,500-141,000/mt.
