SMM Nickel Market Daily Review (2014-4-10)

In Shanghai, SMM #1 nickel prices were between RMB 115,300-116,200/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – In Shanghai, SMM #1 nickel prices were between RMB 115,300-116,200/mt. Jinchuan raised nickel prices by RMB 8,000/mt, to RMB 118,000/mt, the largest hike. Spot transactions were brisk as traders increased purchasing. Prices did not rise further in the afternoon, with transactions mainly made in the morning. Jinchuan nickel prices were between RMB 116,100-117,100/mt, and Russian nickel were RMB 900-1,000/mt below Jinchuan nickel prices.
