China Aluminum Products Imports & Exports Data Analysis in February 2014

China’s aluminum semis exports during February fell by 48.15% MoM, to 140,000 mt, according to China Customs.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 1 (SMM) –

Aluminum Semis
China’s aluminum semis exports during February fell by 48.15% MoM, to 140,000 mt, according to China Customs. The Chinese New Year holiday factor was blamed for the sharp decline. Aluminum extrusion exports also plunged by 57.2% YoY, to 21,000 mt, while plate/sheet and strip exports were down as well by 20.47% YoY, to 62,000 mt. Foil exports, however, rose by 0.83% YoY, to 47,000 mt.
