Scrap gold and platinum prices gain, Silver scrap unchanged

The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - both hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher Tuesday, 11th March on the ScrapMonster Price Index.

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - both hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher Tuesday, 11th March on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of scrap silver remained flat on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 7.80 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went higher by $ 10.01 and $ 12.22 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged higher by $ 5.0 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a rise of $ 1.45 per Oz to reach $ 1,076.18 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained unchanged at $ 17.28 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 7.38 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went higher by $ 9.46 and $ 11.56 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged higher by $ 4.73 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 1.45 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained flat over the day.
