Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Edge Higher, Platinum Declines on 18th Oct, 2016

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked moved higher from previous day on Tuesday, 18^th October, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Platinum scrap declined over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 5.08 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 6.52 per Oz and $ 7.96 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 3.25 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed decline of $ 0.73 per Oz to reach $ 679.54 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw up tick of  $0.21 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 4.80 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 6.16 and $ 7.52 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 3.08 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $ 0.73 per Oz to reach $ 679.54 per Oz. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $ 0.18 per Oz during the day.
