SHANGHAI, Nov. 29 (SMM) – SHFE 1402 aluminum contract opened at RMB 13,985/mt on Friday. The most active contract climbed to RMB 14,025/mt before falling back to close down RMB 20/mt or 0.14% at RMB 14,005/mt. Trading volumes were off 6,018 lots to 7,632 lots, but positions were up 1,812 lots to 61,338 lots. The light metal is expected to hover near RMB 14,000/mt mark for the near term on growing bearish sentiment.
