SMM Brief on SHFE Aluminum Futures (2013-11-22)

SHFE 1402 aluminum contract, the most active one, opened at RMB 14,170/mt on Friday.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1402 aluminum contract, the most active one, opened at RMB 14,170/mt on Friday. The contract briefly broke through the 5-day moving average to RMB 14,175/mt before falling back to RMB 14,150/mt and slipping further to RMB 14,125/mt after the Shanghai Composite Index retreated in the afternoon. The light metal ended the day at RMB 14,135/mt. Trading volumes added 452 lots to 5,198 lots, and positions also increased 1,450 lots to 47,054 lots.
