North American copper scrap prices fall apart on Index

The North American copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on November 13th Wednesday.

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on November 13th Wednesday.

Alternator prices remained unchanged. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.06 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.06 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.06 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery saw a down move of $0.03 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices fell by $0.02 per Lb from previous day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices were lower by $0.05 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator saw a decline of $0.02 per Lb.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes were both down by $0.01 per Lb each.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends price remained unchanged over the day at $0.90 per Lb.

Meanwhile, the price of Cu/Al Radiators and Heater Cores were both down by $0.02 per Lb.

Also, Cu/Al Radiators/Fe and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb each.

The price of Romex wire declined by $0.03 per Lb to touch $2.29 per Lb on November 13th.

Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas lights saw no daily variation in prices.
