Scrap gold continues to move higher on Scrap Monster Index

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices –both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked continued their strong uptrend  Monday , 15th August on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Silver scrap and Platinum scrap too advanced.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 7.37 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up by $ 9.46 and $ 11.55 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also was quoting higher by $ 4.73 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 9.48 per Oz. Silver scrap prices also edged higher by $ 0.41 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 6.98 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up by $ 8.95 and $ 10.92 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was quoting higher by $ 4.48 per Oz. An uptick of $ 9.48 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices saw an increase of $0.37 per Oz.
