DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jul. 30 (SMM) - China imported 228,000 mt of zinc concentrate in June 2013, up 52% YoY, the highest since December 2011. High TC and growing zinc output were attributable to strong demand for zinc concentrate imports. But zinc imports in June fell to 30,600 mt, down 45% MoM, and down 8% YoY. China's zinc import during 1H reached 275,000 mt, up 28% YoY, which is due mainly to financing purpose. China's zinc apparent consumption rose 7% in 1H on a YoY basis, and was up 5% YoY in June.
