North American scrap gold and silver prices go high, platinum backtracks

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices –both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked were in a strong uptrend  Friday , 26th July. The prices of Silver scrap too advanced. Meantime platinum prices fell back.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were up by $8.94 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up by $ 11.45 and $ 14.00 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also was quoting higher by $5.72 per Oz. The price of Platinum decreased by $ 10.93 per Oz. Silver scrap prices also edged higher by $0.08 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 8.45 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up by $10.83 and $ 13.24 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was quoting higher by $5.41 per Oz. A drop of $10.93 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, silver scrap prices saw an increase of  $0.07 per Oz.
