Based on the Rare Earth Industry Entry Requirements, the fourth list of enterprises meeting the Requirements was released by the MIIT, with 5 enterprises included.

The MIIT Unveiled Fourth List of Enterprises Meeting Rare Earth Industry Entry Requirements
Based on the Rare Earth Industry Entry Requirements, the fourth list of enterprises meeting the Requirements was released by the MIIT, with 5 enterprises included.

Rare Earth Prices to Bottom
Association of China Rare Earth Industry President Jiang Quanlong expressed rare earth activity still encounter pressure since the start of this year, but rare earth prices look set to bottom.

MIIT to Launch another Round of Inspections in Rare Earth Industry
The Ministry of Information and Technology (MIIT) implemented inspections to eliminate 14 illegal mining sites, closing 20 dressers and separators, with 30,000 mt of capacity shut down. But some enterprises that had been closed shifted capacity to other provinces to maintain illegal production given smelting and separation capacity glut.

Some Countries Concerned as China Dominates Rare Earth Supply
US PRW reported June 4 that the reliance degree of emerging industries on rare earth is increasing. As China remains global largest rare earth producer, some countries are concerned about rare earth supply safety.

China Newly-increased Rare Earth Capacity Concentrated in Central Soviet Area
The Ministry of Land and Resources reported that domestic newly-increased rare earth and tungsten ore exploration targets are concentrated in southern Jiangxi province, supporting comprehensive recycling to boost local development.
