Most Silicon Metal Producers in Dehong Resume Production

SHANGHAI, Jun. 4 (SMM) – Most silicon metal producers in Dehong, Yunnan province, resumed production June 1, which may largely affect silicon metal market in the province as a majority of Yunnan’s silicon metal producers are located in Dehong. SMM sources reported that products were not yet available to the market as most producers have just restarted for a couple of days. Thus, the influence on silicon metal market was not pronounced and prices remained relatively steady on June 3.

 

Inquires from overseas purchasers were rare on June 3, and traders also watched on the sidelines, with quotes from traders also holding stable.
