The LME market is closed today. Negative macroeconomic news continued to weigh on SHFE zinc contract prices.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 1 (SMM) – The LME market is closed today. Negative macroeconomic news continued to weigh on SHFE zinc contract prices. China will release its March PMI today, which is expected to be positive and boost the market. SHFE 1306 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 14,650-14,800/mt, with spot discounts between RMB 80-120/mt.

SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,695/mt Wednesday evening, then fluctuated narrowly but fell at the end of trading, and closed at RMB 13,560/mt, up RMB 55/mt.
