On February 26, SHFE lead prices stopped falling and mvoed around RMB 15,000/mt, and cargo holders in spot lead market were reluctant to move goods.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 26 (SMM) – On February 26, SHFE lead prices stopped falling and mvoed around RMB 15,000/mt, and cargo holders in spot lead market were reluctant to move goods, expecting SHFE lead to stabilize, leaving quotations fewer than Monday. Prices for Chihong Zn & Ge were offered around RMB 14,850/mt, with spot discounts over the most active SHFE lead price at RMB 200/mt. Dongling and Shenqian were quoted at RMB 14,710-14,720/mt. Downstream buyers purchased at lows, with transactions improving slightly.

SHFE 1508 lead opened Tuesday evening session at RMB 12,720/mt and hovered between RMB 12,720-12,780/mt, to close at RMB 12,730/mt.
