SHANGHAI, Feb.21 (SMM) – Overseas market, according to report from BHP, the company’s manganese ore output will increase from 4.2 million mt/yr to 4.8 million mt/yr after the GEEP2 project is put into operation in 2H 2013.
In domestic market, supply of spot manganese ore was still in shortage at ports. Demand for manganese ore from downstream alloy producers was till soft. Meanwhile, the manganese ore railway fright was hiked by the Ministry of Railway.
Manganese ore prices till stagnates, and are expected to move higher if offers from overseas suppliers grow in April.
