On January 7, SHFE lead prices fell as much as RMB 150/mt in the morning session and almost all traders in spot lead market exited the market.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 7 (SMM) – On February 7, SHFE lead prices fell as much as RMB 150/mt in the morning session and almost all traders in spot lead market exited the market. Only goods from Jinsha was quoted at RMB 14,950/mt, with spot discounts over the most active SHEF lead contract price at RMB 330/mt. Smelters met difficulty transporting goods, and downstream buyers rarely entered the market.

SHFE 1508 lead opened Tuesday evening session at RMB 12,720/mt and hovered between RMB 12,720-12,780/mt, to close at RMB 12,730/mt.
