LONDON, May 01, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- The world refined copper market was in deficit by 29,000 metric tons in January, the International Copper Study Group said Tuesday.
In January, world refined usage grew 3.2% on-year to 1.721 million tons, the ICSG said. In comparison, world refined copper production grew 4.6% from a year earlier to 1.693 million tons, it said.
