SMM Brief Review - 2012/4/11 SHFE Lead Futures

On Wednesday, SHFE lead prices opened nearly RMB 150/mt lower at RMB 15,420/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE lead prices opened nearly RMB 150/mt lower at RMB 15,420/mt due to the sharp decrease of LME lead prices overnight. Later, prices fluctuated narrowly at a low level, and finally closed at RMB 15,460/mt, down RMB 180/mt, a decrease of 1.15%. Trading volumes decreased by 312 lots to 134 lots and positions remained unchanged at 2,340 lots.
