LME zinc prices overnight moved between USD 2,020-2,030/mt in the morning session.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 29 (SMM) – LME zinc prices overnight moved between USD 2,020-2,030/mt in the morning session. But as SHFE zinc prices plunged at noon, and since US durable goods orders rose 2.2%, lower than expected 3%, combined with worse-than-expected economic shrink in 4Q 2011 in England, LME zinc prices fell further to close at USD 2,004/mt, down USD 38/mt.SHFE 1206 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 15,450-15,650/mt today, with spot discounts narrowing to RMB 180-280/mt.
