LME zinc prices overnight touched USD 2,044.5/mt as SHFE zinc prices surged.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 28 (SMM) – LME zinc prices overnight touched USD 2,044.5/mt as SHFE zinc prices surged. US March CCI rose, but due to market concerns over US economic growth, the US dollar index rose slightly. As a result, LME zinc prices dipped to USD 2,003.3/mt,but rallied to close at USD 2,042/mt, up USD 15/mt.SHFE 1206 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 15,550-15,750/mt today, with spot discounts between RMB 250-35/mt.
