SHANGHAI,Mar. 10 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 484,569 mt during February, with YTD imports from January to February at 898,533 mt, up 49.8% YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 400 kt during February, with YTD imports from January to February at6.3 million mt, up 3.5% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 124,584 mt in February, with YTD imports from January to February at 218,162 mt, up 39.3% YoY. Alumina imports were 280 kt during February, with YTD imports from January to February at 720 kt, up 27.4% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 220 kt during February, with YTD imports from January to February at 350 kt, down 3.9% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 47,404 mt in February, with YTD exports from January to February at 107,196 mt, up 16.8% YoY.
