SMM Morning Review - 2012/3/8 Zinc Market

LME zinc prices overnight dipped to USD 1,981.5/mt at a time.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 8 (SMM) – LME zinc prices overnight dipped to USD 1,981.5/mt at a time. Market confidence improved as more and more creditors said they will participate in the Greek debt exchange plan, so LME zinc prices gained back previous losses to close at USD 2,009/mt, down USD 3.5/mt. SHFE 1206 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 15,550-15,750/mt today, with spot discounts narrowing to RMB 250-350/mt.
