(OZL.AU) said Wednesday it produced 26,802 metric tons of copper and 37,814 ounces of gold from its Prominent Hill operation in the final quarter of 2011, down 1.5% and up 4.9%, respectively, on the prior quarter.
Output of the metals for the year totalled 107,744 tons and 160,007 ounces, the company said in a statement.
Oz Minerals said copper production guidance for 2012 has been maintained at 100,000 tons to 110,000 tons, with gold production expected to be between 130,000 ounces and 150,000 ounces.
