Jan. 5 (Bloomberg) --Copper climbed in London on signs of growth in the U.S., the second-biggest buyer of the metal.

a.m. on the London Metal Exchange. Relative Strength Index 52.
-- Aluminum rose 0.1 percent to $2,066.75 a ton. RSI 53.
-- Zinc was up less than 0.1 percent at $1,870 a ton. RSI 46.
-- Lead gained 0.2 percent to $2,065 a ton. RSI 54.
-- Nickel fell 0.8 percent to $18,650 a ton. RSI 53.
-- Tin was unchanged at $19,605 a ton. RSI 49.
