DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Dec. 14 (SMM) –SMM's survey showed that scrap copper inventories at the scrap copper smelters surveyed remained low through November. Although the expansion of the price gap between scrap and refined copper led to an increase in scrap copper purchases, most smelters chose to purchase to order, unclear about copper price trends and cautious as the end of the year approaches, inclining most to maintain low inventories.
