South China Aluminum: Deals are Limited in Spot Market

The most active SHFE aluminum contract prices struggled on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 7 (SMM) – The most active SHFE aluminum contract prices struggled on Wednesday, depressing market in South China. Downstream buyers were of low buying interest over strong bearish sentiments, while cargo holders were reluctant to move goods at lower prices and held at RMB 16,160/mt, leaving stalemate between buyers and sellers at RMB 16,160-16,180/mt. Deals were quite limited.
