LONDON, Oct 26, 2011 (Dow Jones) -- Total world aluminum inventories fell by 127,000 metric tons in September to 2.539 million tons, according to figures released Wednesday by the International Aluminum Institute.
World stocks in August stood at a revised 2.666 million tons.
September stocks were up 158,000 tons compared to the same month of 2010, when inventories were recorded at 2.381 million tons, the IAI said.
