LONDON, Oct 12, 2011 (Dow Jones) -- The London Metal Exchange Wednesday said it has listed a new lead brand for Mexico's Corporacion Pipsa.

The brand, PIPSA 99.970%, will be listed immediately, and will be supplied from the company's Nuevo Leon plant, which has an annual capacity of 17,280 metric tons.

The LME also announced that May 17, 2012, will be the last day for placing zinc brand OVERCOR 99.995 ZINC on warrant.

"Once the stocks of this brand are exhausted it will no longer constitute good delivery against the LME special high grade zinc contract and will be delisted," the exchange said.
