LME: Suspends Zinc Brand Yinli SHG; Delists US Aluminum Brand Alcan

LONDON, Sep 28, 2011 (Dow Jones) -- The London Metal Exchange Wednesday said it has suspended high grade zinc brand Yinli SHG, produced by China's Yinli Chemical & Metallurgical (Group) Company, with immediate effect.

It also said no further deliveries of high grade primary aluminum brand Alcan, U.S. production, will be accepted for LME warranting from Dec. 29.

"Once the stocks of the aforementioned brand are exhausted it will no longer constitute good delivery...and will be delisted," the exchange said in a note.

The LME noted that Alcan, Canadian production, remains listed on the exchange.
