LME zinc prices overnight generally moved between USD 2,170-2,190/mt during Asian trading hours.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 16 (SMM)--LME zinc prices overnight generally moved between USD 2,170-2,190/mt during Asian trading hours. European Central Bank, US Federal Reserve and other three central banks said they provide European banks unlimited amounts of dollar loans, boosting LME zinc prices to USD 2,200/mt. But LME zinc prices failed to break through that level, and with prices finally closing at USD 2,190/mt, up USD 17.5/mt. SHFE three-month zinc contract prices should open slightly higher today, moving between RMB 16,600-16,900/mt, with discounts of negative RMB 130-180/mt.
