DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingLONDON, Sep 14, 2011 (Dow Jones) -- The global refined lead market was in a 127,000-metric-ton surplus in the first seven months of 2011, the International Lead and Zinc Study Group said Wednesday.
That compares with a 57,000-ton surplus in the same period last year, data from the ILZSG shows.
In January to July, total production was 5.797 million tons of refined lead. Consumption was 5.670 million tons, the ILZSG said.
