DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingMOSCOW, Sep 14, 2011 (Dow Jones) -- Kazakhstan produced 1.3 million metric tons of primary aluminum in January-August, 2.5% more than in the corresponding period last year, the state statistics agency reported Wednesday.
Zinc output during the period was the same as last year at 212,700 tons. Copper output fell by 4.3% to 220,000 tons.
Gold output increased by 36.4% on the year to 24.4 tons and silver output increased by 18.4% to 414.2 tons.
