SMM Morning Review - 2011/9/14 Zinc Market

LME zinc prices overnight continued to fluctuate.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM)--LME zinc prices overnight continued to fluctuate. As concerns over European debt crisis still dominate the market, and due to concerns that Greece will default on its debt, LME zinc prices overnight finally closed at USD 2,200/mt, down USD 13/mt. SHFE three-month zinc contract prices should open lower, moving between RMB 16,800-17,100/mt, with discounts between negative RMB 150-250/mt. Downstream buyers will build stocks as the National Day holiday nears.
