DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingAug. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Global refined-tin consumption will rise 2 percent this year from 2010, said PT Timah, the world’s second-largest producer.
The company’s refined-metal production dropped 5.4 percent to 18,455 metric tons during 2011’s first six months compared with the year before, the Pangkalpinang, Indonesia-based company said today in a statement accompanying first-half results.
Yunnan Tin Co. is the world’s largest producer based on 2010 output, according to industry group ITRI Ltd.
