LME zinc prices overnight generally moved between USD 2,420-2,440/mt, then edged down after Asian trading hours.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM)--LME zinc prices overnight generally moved between USD 2,420-2,440/mt, then edged down after Asian trading hours. US ISM non-manufacturing index for July was 52.7, the lowest since February 2010, and factory orders in June dropped 0.8%, also lower than forecasts. In this context, LME zinc prices plummeted to close at USD 2,395/mt, down USD 40.
