DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Aug. 1 (SMM) –Trading volumes in the copper spot market in Shandong province failed to improve over the past week, due largely to soft downstream demand and cash flow pressures.
Most copper suppliers in Shandong said a slow season hurt downstream demand for refined copper. Coupled with tightening cash flows, buying interest of downstream producers was dampened further amid rising copper prices, resulting in weak overall transactions.
